HazWaste Features

"The HazWaste Module helps organizations stay in compliance with Environmental Regulations associated with managing Hazardous Waste."

Create and Manage Waste Profiles

List approved Waste Profiles in one place.

  • All Profiles can be listed in one place.
  • Waste profiles are critical documents that help ensure regulatory compliance and ensure clear communication with Treatment, Storage, and Disposal Facilities (TSDFs).
  • Improper preparation of profile documents can expose organizations to fines and issues with TSDFs.
  • Once entered and approved, Waste Profile forms can be downloaded into PDF format and given to TSDFs.
  • Waste profiles will list properties such as: color, odor, physical state, pH, liquid flashpoint at various temperatures, boiling point, etc.  For RCRA characterization, specific waste definition and codes are included.
  • DOT shipping descriptions and pictograms are created on labels.

Manage Waste Container Use

Temporary Waste Storages Containers can be tracked at Satellite Accumulation Areas.

  • Organizations can choose to identify and track waste containers at Satellite Accumulation areas.
  • Waste containers will have barcode labels affixed so that a person reading the label knows key pieces of information about the contained waste, such as generator, waste type, etc.

Manage Waste Container Storage and Monthly Thresholds

Depending on Generator Status, waste can only be stored at a facility by a permit-limited number of days.

  • Enviros Software can be used to track the storage of waste for a limited number of days.
  • Permits often include the maximum weight in waste a facility can hold.  As facility's get close to this number, they need to consider disposal.

Track Manifest Returns

Track Manifest Returns to avoid non compliance.

  • Once items are shipped, manifest can be tracked.
  • Outstanding manifests can be 30, 45, 60 or 90 days overdue.
  • Facilities can quickly notify regulators when manifest copies have not been returned.

Generate Compliance Reports

Hazardous and Non-Hazardous Waste Reports can be generated

  • Facilities can use the reports section to track who the generators of the waste are.
  • Hazardous waste can be tracked.
  • Non-Hazardous waste can be tracked.
  • Facilities can keep an accurate account of waste streams.
